For this campaign, my client, Copper Falls State Park, needed a poster to showcase their annual fundraising Candlelight Ski and Snowshoe event. After several rounds of brainstorming, I realized I wanted the poster to tell a visual story that is more memorable than simply advertising the event. I illustrated a conceptual piece that blends candles with the imagery of skiing down a snowy mountain. The scene captures the atmosphere of the nighttime trail with an almost nostalgic Christmas magazine style. Through the typefaces, textures, and illustration work, I created the look of those handcrafted 3D miniatures used in vintage holiday scenes. By combining these elements, the design reflects both the spirit of the event and the experience visitors can expect while skiing or snowshoeing through candlelit paths.
